Pragya Thakur: ‘Can’t MPs playing basketball go to hospital for vaccinations?’

Bhopal: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP from Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh, Pragya Singh Thakur, is once again in the spotlight. Last week, Pragya Singh Thakur called a medical team at home to vaccinate his corona. A video of 51-year-old Pragya Singh Thakur getting vaccinated at home by misusing government machinery has surfaced on social media. After this, however, the Congress strongly criticized the BJP. Many senior BJP leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, went to the hospital and took part in the vaccination. However, Pragya Singh Thakur is also a headache for the BJP.

Madhya Pradesh Congress spokesperson Narendra Saluja tweeted on the issue and criticized Pragya Singh Thakur.

Earlier, Pragya Singh Thakur had embarrassed the BJP by making controversial remarks about Hemant Karkare, a martyred police officer in the Mumbai terror attacks. Pragya Thakur had earlier said that Hemant Karkare died due to his curse. Pragya Singh, accused in the Malegaon bomb blast case, said, “Hemant Karkare may be a patriot for some, but the views of real patriots are different. Karkare broke the fingers and bones of my teachers to get information about me. “I was caught in a false case,” he said.

Pragya Singh appeared in court several times in a wheelchair during the hearing of the Malegaon bomb blast case. On the same basis, he was also allowed not to appear in court. But earlier this month, she was spotted playing basketball in a stadium. She was also seen dancing and singing at a wedding.

The state administration has tried to address the issue of Pragya Singh’s vaccination. “Pragya Thakur has been given the right to vaccinate at home under special rules designed for the elderly and the disabled,” state administrative officer Santosh Shukla told a TV channel.

Notably, long queues are appearing at vaccination centers in Madhya Pradesh. Many citizens are still waiting to be vaccinated.
