New Delhi: Two people have tried to commit suicide by setting themselves on fire at the gate of the Supreme Court in the capital Delhi. This includes one woman and one man.

According to the information received, the woman and the man had now tried to enter through Gate No. D of the court. However, security personnel refused to allow them to enter without proper identification. The duo then tried to commit suicide by setting themselves on fire near the gate of the Supreme Court.

However, due to the vigilance of the security guards, both of them survived. After extinguishing the fire, the two critically injured were rushed to Ram Manohar Lohiar Hospital in a police vehicle.

Police also found a bottle of flammable substance at the scene. The two tried to set themselves on fire by pouring food from the same bottle on their bodies.
