Saying that many people have also benefited from Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Shah said, ‘Health check-up camps were conducted for children. Cheap medicines became available at the Jan Aushadhi Kendra. India has undergone many changes in the field of public health in the last few years. In 2017, there were 10 medical schools in Uttar Pradesh. In 2022 this number has reached 40 and by 2024 there will be medical colleges in every district. The Modi government emphasized on providing basic necessities like electricity, drinking water, toilets, gas cylinders, healthcare to the citizens. Corona vaccines were also provided free of charge during the Kovid period. That is why citizens voted for BJP, said Shah.
