In New Delhi, patients doubled in four days
The number of corona patients had started increasing in New Delhi last week. 517 patients were found on April 17, 501 on April 18, 632 on April 19 and 1009 on Wednesday. According to local health officials, the rate of corona infection in Delhi has increased six-fold between April 10 and April 18. The corona infection rate had reached 7.72 per cent on Monday. The number of corona patients in North Indian states, including New Delhi, has been on the rise since last week. Due to the increasing number of corona patients, the mask has been made mandatory in northern Haryana, Punjab.
