While the fourth wave of corona outbreaks is expected in India by the end of June, the states of Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and Mizoram have seen a resurgence in the last few days. Out of these, the situation in Delhi is more serious and the health system is shaken as the daily number of patients has crossed the thousand mark today. In the last 24 hours, 1,009 new corona patients have been found in Delhi, while 314 patients have recovered and returned home. Today’s covid positivity rate stood at 5.70. On Tuesday, 601 patients were found in Delhi. Due to the huge increase in it, the total number of active patients has now reached 2 thousand 641. There are indications that tough decisions will be taken in Delhi in the coming days, given the growing threat posed by the Corona.

Mumbai’s numbers also raise concerns
Considering Maharashtra, Mumbai’s corona figures are worrying. In the state today, 137 new patients were added and 3 patients were diagnosed with corona, while 98 patients of corona were found in Mumbai alone. On Tuesday, 85 patients were registered in Mumbai. It increased slightly today. The health system of Mumbai Municipal Corporation is keeping a close watch on this situation. At present, there are 415 active patients of Corona in Mumbai and the cure rate is 98%. From April 13 to April 19, the growth rate of covid was 0.005 per cent.
