Noida : The Noida Police has arrested a man named Srikant Tyagi who allegedly misbehaved with a woman in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. According to media reports, four more people have been arrested along with Tyagi. However, this has not been officially announced. A video of Srikanth Tyagi went viral on social media. It was revealed that he was abusing and threatening a woman. It was alleged that Srikant Tyagi had links with the BJP.

After the video of this incident went viral on social media, heated discussions started. Srikanth Tyagi mentioned on his Twitter account that he is associated with BJP. Social media users also accused the BJP after this. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, BJP President J.P. Nadda and Union Home Minister Amit Shah also took notice of the matter.

Noida Police has registered an FIR against Srikanth Tyagi. Noida police had formed teams to arrest Srikant Tyagi. As soon as he got information that Srikanth Tyagi was going to be arrested, he absconded. Police also detained Srikant Tyagi’s wife and four others for questioning.

According to the police, Srikanth Tyagi used to drive around with the emblem of the Uttar Pradesh government on his four-wheeler and was misusing it. Due to this, another case has been registered against Srikanth Tyagi. Noida Police officer Ranvijay Singh has been given more information about this. Noida police have also impounded two cars belonging to Srikanth Tyagi. Those cars have been impounded under the Motor Vehicle Act.
